If possible, I'd include East Timor in this lesson as, like Brunei, it is pretty much in the middle of Indonesia.

Vietnam or Việt Nam (with diacriticals) is better.

I think too for me it would help to learn the more northern countries together so it's very clear which one is to the left or right of the other.

Would be helpful if Brunei was also colored so you could tell exactly what the arrow was referring to. Also wikipedia and the CIA factbook say this on Mynamar "The U.S. does not recognize the renaming of Burma by its ruling military junta to Myanmar and thus keeps its entry for the country under "Burma". This is done because the name change "was not approved by any sitting legislature in Burma". As a result, the US government has never adopted the name Myanmar."

Yes, but the UN does recognize the name as Myanmar and not Burma. (US, UK, Canada, etc. don't). I believe that the "politically correct" thing would be to go with the UN's designation. (Of course, this would also mean that Taiwan and a few others are not recognized countries.)

A very useful lesson and covers a good set of content. Two aesthetic comments - the highlight color for the selected country should probably have higher contrast against the bronze background. Yellow doesn't stand out as well as say, bright green. Second, The distance from the image to the words below appears a little far - I don't know if it's an image size issue or something else - but the eyes need to shift away a little more than is comfortable to follow the content.
